Krismas/FUQ

Why isn't Festivus mentioned on this website?
While I have nothing against those who wish to celebrate Festivus, and people who celebrate Krismas are welcome to celebrate Festivus, but I don't personally support the holiday. I don't support it because it seems negative in nature, even if that negativity was originally for humorous purposes. This seems to take away from what I cherish about the Krismas traditions that I love, so I don't celebrate or promote Festivus. But I will not deny its existence, and that is why I have this question here. You can make up your own mind.
For similar reasons I don't include Humbug Day on this site. You can include either in the "12 Days of Secular Celebration" if you wish.
Can Krismas be celebrated in U.S. Public Schools?
Wow, that is a hard question. I'm not a lawyer. Krismas is NOT a religious holiday, and it isn't specifically a holiday that is against religion. (even if I many of the celebrators might be against many religious beliefs) It is a secular holiday, that could be celebrated by any person, regardless or religion or belief.
I'd be very interested in hearing feedback about something like this. It would probably be one of those big legal battle things in the end, with weird twisted arguments being used. (On the other hand, in my opinion, one can only be religious if they make weird twisted arguments, as most logic points away from most religions.)
On a side musing: can we no longer celebrate "International Talk Like a Pirate Day" because it is now being celebrated as a holy day by the Pastafarians?
Is Krismas “Intellectual Property”?
I have debated whether to trademark Krismas or not. I want the concept to be open to anyone, and I don’t want royalties, or any kind of payment, or money for the concept. I just want it to be shared. But on the other hand, I am not sure with the laws that we have, whether someone else could take the idea, and try to make it proprietary to them and profit from it, or a Christian church could try and take the name, and turn it back towards being “Christianized”, or someone else could try to twist the concept. So for the moment I am retaining some of the Intellectual property rights of the name. You can spread the concept free of charge, as long as it basically stays in the spirit of what we have created. Feel free to make your own Krismas homepages and your own Krismas cards. Put up Krismas lights, use the name. You may even use the name on items you wish to sell, (I'd appreciate including www.krismas.org on them if you do, but it isn't required), as long as the idea stays intact. (I'll even be happy to link to any pages that sell Krismas items, or are about Krismas) Once the idea of Krismas catches on more widely, I have full intention of releasing the term into the Public Domain.
If anyone tries to twist the concept around to something it wasn’t originally intended for, I am quite willing to sue your ass off. (Of course if you parody the concept, we have laws that will protect you, as long as it is clear you are PARODYING the original concept)
Also, I should mention that all the materials I have used are either public domain, have an open license, or were created by me. I have tried to list the license along with the material.
Why is "Commercial" spelled as "Kommercial" on this website?
Quick Answer: Self-referencing irony/humor.
Why does this Website use a Wiki if other People can't Edit it?
I chose to use the Mediawiki software (the same one that Wikipedia uses) because it makes it very easy for me to update the page on a regular basis, and keeps track of my revisions. Since there is a large probability that if I opened it to the public, it would get vandalized, I don't allow public editing.
What about the Naughty Side of Krismas?
Ok, for adults only... I have put up some slightly Naughty Krismas Items
Isn't the acronym "FUQ" a little naughty in and of itself?
Yes it is.
