Krismas/for Kids
From Tetrakatus Productions - The Art of Jacob Walker
Some people say I don't exist; that isn't true. I just keep my secrets well. But if people look far enough, they will find my deeper meaning as they learn and grow.

I Live in the North Pole
Some people think I live on the bottom of the earth, others think it is the top. Like many things, you will find that much of this depends upon how you decide to see things.
Every year the whole earth circles around the sun. And in December, the north is pointing away from that amazing star, and we have the shortest amount of daylight, and it is winter. But at the same time that is chilly and cold in the north, the south part of the earth is facing the sun, and it is warm and summer time.
I Give Gifts to All the Children of the World
Every Krismas Eve, I travel around the world bringing gifts to all the children of the world, because all children are the hope for our future, including you. Sometimes my gifts may be a toy, sometimes it is a hug, or sometimes it is hope and imagination.
Not only do I bring presents to all the children, but I touch the hearts of humans, and help them to give to each other. I help open the eyes of people so they can see the beauty of this magnificent world that we live in, and also see how they can help ease the sadness and suffering that many are blind to. Helping people to give, is the biggest gift I have for the world.
Activities for Fun
Think!
Use your imagination to answer the following questions. For some of the questions you might want to use things that can help you out, like a globe. Some of these questions are challenging, even for adults, so don't feel bad if you don't get an answer right away. The important part is to keep thinking about them and playing with them. You will continue to get better answers your whole life if you keep doing that. The ability to think is one of the greatest gifts that we have.
- How do you think I can get into a house to deliver presents if there isn't a chimney?
- How fast do you think I must travel to get to all the children of the world in one night? How could you figure this out?
- If in December the north of the earth is cold and the south is warm, when do you think the south is cold and has its winter?
- Is there a place on the earth where there isn't summer or winter? Where do you think it might be?
- What type of things do you give to people to show you love them? Are the physical gifts the only thing you give?
- What can you do to help all the people of the world?
